Welcome to Artistic Antiquities

Artistic Antiquities was founded by sisters Rhonda Schmoyer and Robin Butler in April of 2016, but the vision has been around for much longer.

Rhonda, a bonafide Gypsy Soul, has well over 35 years experience in antique & vintage sales, design and repurposing. Her appreciation for antiques grew through her years of work with an Aunt and Uncle, Gerry and Mary Jane Grooms, long time antique collectors and dealers.

Robin recently retired from 36 years of public service at Florida Department of Transportation and Seminole County Government. Robin's area of study in college was Interior Design, which she has used in various homes, apartments and even a few Seminole County Fire Stations. Robin loves all aspects of design, but furniture repurposing is a passion.

The sisters picked up a circa 1940 vintage Heywood Wakefield sofa and chair at a local sale, repurposed it and, before they knew it, the garage and She-shed were brimming with great finds and ample projects.
